Blotches, what is it? Following the clinical appearance of redness include:
- The Erythrosis: simple flushing, but the vessels are clearly visible. They often join Erythrosis hot flashes (flushes phenomenon).
- The blotches, with the presence of larger vessels, although dilated, visible to the naked eye.
- The érythrocouperoses: corresponding to the association red background and large vessels.
- The Erythrosis coli is a combination of Erythrosis and pigment spots at the sides of the neck.
Why?
The capillaries in the dermis of the skin, because of the presence of smooth muscle in their wall:
- Contract under the influence of cold, emotions .... Inducing pallor
- Or expand under the influence of various factors such as temperature change, heat, emotions, alcohol, spices ... inducing redness accompanied by a sensation of heat, called rosacea. With the repetition of this phenomenon and genetic factors predisposing and aggravating as the sun exposure, tobacco, the wall of some of these vessels is impaired and they remain permanently dilated: they are redness.
- Erytrocouperose fine before and after treatment
Previously, the only way to deal with these unsightly lesions was electrocoagulation with fine needles. Over the past ten years it is possible to deal effectively and sustainably by laser or pulsed light
What is the treatment?
It is under the influence of the laser to obtain a reduction in vascular density by coagulation of blood vessels. This effect is achieved by selective lasers, which coagulate through the skin vessels in the dermis, without alteration surface. The treatment of rosacea is critical to preventing future problems.
Can lasers be used it?
THE COLOR LASER PULSE or LCP:
o In the thermal (heating) with immediate-type of redness and swelling for about 48 hours and requiring 3 to 4 sessions spaced 2 months
o mode with 'photothermolysis' more radical and faster, with purpura (micro superficial bruises) for 10 to 15 days
Broken nose before and after treatment
What happens during the session?
The doctor will cover light impacts the treatment area during a meeting which will last 15 to 20 minutes.
The meeting is it painful?
The laser pulses sent to the skin cause a sensation type tap rubber. The pain is limited by a cooling system associated with laser propelling gas cold
What are the suites?
They vary depending on the laser and the option you have chosen with the dermatologist.
In most cases the result will be simpler with redness and possibly a slight swelling for 24 to 48 hours. Sometimes, especially with the pulsed dye laser, the laser will induce voluntary destruction of ships and it is a gray-brown more or less marked (purpura) to decline 7 to 15 days. There is then a major embarrassment that needs to reorganize the days following the treatment and make a camouflage!
There may be intermediate options with more visible redness few days but also without any persistent redness. But in this case it will consider more meetings in total.
How many passages should be considered?
It depends on the intensity of érythrocouperose and ranges from 1 to 3 passages.
How many sessions?
Sometimes only 1 for a big hair or a stellar angioma The most frequently 3 to 4 to 1 or 2 months apart. The target is more sensitive and more treatment is long. So in general it will take more sessions to treat a broken Erythrosis
What are the results?
These techniques are very efficient and provide comfort to the patient.
The result will install en1 to 2 months.
Is it definitive?
One or two sessions are recommended annual maintenance thereafter.
